"Quarter: S. Maria Novella, Parishes: SS Apostoli, S. Biagio, S. Cecilia, S. Maria degli Ughi, S. Stefano, S. Trinita, Streets: Borgo SS Apostoli, Lungarno, Por S. Maria, V delle Terme, V Porta Rossa {p}, V Vacchereccia. Square 59 had many households, many shops, many patricians, many households with servants, many households w/o surnames, and some households headed by widows. The fish market was initially at the northern end of the Ponte Vecchio (Pza del Pesce); it was moved to the Loggia del Pesce in the Mercato Vecchio (sq. 48) in 1565."
