The main wool cloth drying and stretching house of the Arte della Lana. B190 Lungarno. No longer exists.
The Alberti family had houses here; Giovan Vincenzo degli Alberti (1715-88) joined them into a palace behind a single façade; enlarged in the 19th century. G-L 95 V. dei Benci 1.
Built by Brunelleschi for the Busini ca. 1430, sold to the Bardi 1483 who completed it. Count Giovanni dei Bardi di Vernio (1534-1612) founded the Camerata dei Bardi which met in this house and experimented with the first operas. B199 G-L 94 V. dei Benci 5.
