The medieval prison. There were 110 prisoners, mostly debtors, here in 1632. The enclosed space south of the building was a reservoir of water used as a public wash house. B184 Pza Stinche No longer exists. Space now occupied by the Teatro Verdi.

Significant Salviati palace; renovated by G. Silvani in the 17th century. The present large structure was built over it by Camillo Borghese in the 1820s. G-L 84 V. Ghibellina 110.
Owned by Baccio Valori and confiscated from him after the Battle of Montemurlo 1537. Various owners 16th century, bought by the Galli-Tassi in 1623. G-L 83 V. Pandolfini 14.
