Writing Letters...

During the war, many husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, separated family members, and even teachers and students corresponded through letter writing. Often, the letters were censored to avoid revealing the location of the soldier or any other sensitive military information; however, these letters usually revealed much more about the spirit and mentality of young soldiers and civilians during the war.
