Postcard of Baltimore
Title
Postcard of Baltimore
Description
This is a picture of a postcard of where Anne Seddon Kinsolving lived.
Born in Brooklyn in 1906, Anne was the daughter of Rev. Arthur B. Kinsolving of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Baltimore and poet Sally Bruce Kinsolving. Beginning in childhood, she was fascinated by holiday parades featuring respected men in military, naval, and militia uniforms. As she wrote: "The army so intrigued me that while other girls piled up on dolls to play with, my brother Herbert and I spent every minute tracking down toy soldiers."
