Public Art
Bob Rizzo has been active in the Rhode Island art scene for over twenty five years. As the former director of cultural affairs for the Providence Parks department, creator and curator of Convergence Internationals Arts Festival, and director of CapitolArts Providence, Bob Rizzo has played a large part in institutionalizing government support for artists and arts events. An artist in his own right, Bob Rizzo's work has been displayed internationally and he has received numerous fellowships and grants. Bob Rizzo was also a member of the electron movers, an experimental group of movie makers.
