Richard Kostelanetz

Richard Kostelanetz was born in New York City in 1940. He came to Brown to study American History and graduated with honors in 1962. While at Brown, he started the literary magazine Hubris, and later went on to write the Dictionary of the Avant Garde, among other works. He currently is an independent scholar and writer in New York.
