The film presents different ways of preparing and adorning ritual bread (colac), the positions it occupies during various ceremonies and rituals (near the craddle of a child, for example), the ceremonial roles that involve carrying a colac (the bride and bridegroom at the wedding, for example), the traditional gestures when ritually giving or receiving a colac (such as kissing it; looking through its central hole etc.).
