A production of the Film Studio “Alexandru Sahia,” realized with the cooperation of the Bucharest Institute of Ethnography and Folklore of the Romanian Academy and the Maieru (Năsăud), Frătăuți (Rădăuți), Bixad (Oaș) and Polovragi (Oltenia) communes.
The film presents the preparation and uses of bread in the ceremonies that accompany birth, wedding and burrial in several parts of Romania. Used by permission of Gabriela Ionescu and Iaromira Popovici.
