A production of the TV Film Studio, in collaboration with the Bucharest Institute of
Ethnography and Folklore of the Romanian Academy and the Museum of the Village in
Bucharest.
The film shows decorative symbols representing human figures, the traditional dance called “hora,” the tree of life, the human hand etc., to be found on textile, ceramics, wooden sculptures (gates, furniture, daily objects and utensils) in Romania.
