Note: These are the 137 households in Florence (1.4%) with 10,000 florins or more of total assessment in 1427. In assessing the relative ranking of the total 9,780 households assessed, 1,431 (14.6%) had no total assessed wealth. Of the remaining 8,349 (reckoning by quintile), the lowest quintile had 1-65 florins, the 2nd 66-103 florins, the 3rd 204-501 florins, the 4th 502-1,304 florins, and the highest 1,305-162,906 florins, with a median for the 8,349 of 325 florins and mean of 1,207 florins (+/- 3,892).
