Providence is in New England, 50 miles south of Boston, and is easily reachable by bus or train from Boston or NY. The Providence airport, T.F. Green, is about 15 minutes away from Brown University and the center of Providence. Conference attendees can fly directly into T. F. Green or they can fly to Logan Airport in Boston and take the airport bus from Logan that comes directly to Providence.   [ more travel information ]

DAC has reserved rooms at the Radisson Hotel - Providence Harbor, and the Comfort Inn in Pawtucket. Both are relatively close to Brown and the conference site. There are also other hotels and B&Bs in the vicinity where you can book a room individually. Please make sure to book your room early. The room blocks will be released one month before the conference, and there is no guarantee of getting the conference rate. Although Providence is not a large city, it is a popular destination and hotels fill up.   [ more lodging information ]
